SAT Prep
The SAT is a multiple-choice college entrance exam. This pencil-and-paper test includes a math section as well as a reading and writing section. The math section includes Algebra I and II, geometry, and some trigonometry.
Each section is scored from 200-800, with a maximum score of 1600.
The SAT length is 3 hours.
The SAT is offered in August, October, November, December, March, May, and June.
Most students take it in the spring of their junior year or the fall of their senior year. I highly suggest that you leave time for a re-take as most students take it twice.

The ACT test is a multiple-choice college-entrance exam made up of 4 parts: English, Reading, Math, and Science. The scores from these four parts are combined for a composite score. The maximum score to attain on the ACT test is 36. While the ACT test can be taken by students in their Sophomore, Junior, and Senior years of high school, it's most commonly taken by Juniors.
The ACT test is offered 7 times a year: September, October, December, February, April, June, and July

SAT or ACT?

AP Tests: AP History (World, US, European, & US Government & Politics), Calculus AB & BC, Biology, & Chemistry
Most exams are 2–3 hours long.
The beginning of the exams will most likely be multiple-choice questions.
There are 4-5 answer choices for each question.
The total score will be based on answers that are correct. You won’t be penalized for incorrect or unanswered questions so please guess if needed.
The next part of your exam will probably be the free response section. Your written answers could be in the form of a solution to a problem, a spoken response, or an essay.
The AP Exams are offered the first 2 weeks of May each year.

SSAT
The SSAT is a private school admissions exam.
It can be taken in three different ways: prometric(computer test at a testing center), paper, and at home, they offer accommodations and fee waivers so it can be available to as many people as possible.
The SSAT is for grades 3-11.
Students will be tested on reading, verbal, and math skills. There will also be a writing sample included to assess writing ability, this will not be counted though.
SSAT scoring: You get 1 point for each correct answer and they will subtract 1/4 point for each incorrect answer. Your score is then scaled to a score between 500 and 800. It is then changed to a percentile ranging from 1 to 99.

The SSAT is offered multiple times, it just depends on which mode you select.
ISEE
The ISEE is a private school admissions exam.
The ISEE has three different levels depending on your grade.
Lower Level is for 5th and 6th graders.
Middle Level is for 7th and 8th graders.
Upper Level is for 9th grade and above.
All levels will be tested on the same sections—Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, Reading Comprehension and Mathematics Achievement.
There will be differences in the sections depending on your grade level. There will also be a writing section that is not scored but will be sent to the school you are applying to.
The majority of the ISEE test dates are between fall and early winter, but you can take it other times throughout the year too. You can take the ISEE only once in a six month period.

What is the difference between the ISEE & SSAT?
The ISEE and SSAT both test you on Vocabulary, Math and Reading Comprehension.
What is great is that many schools will accept either exam, so this gives you the option to choose the one that focuses more on your strengths.
The main difference between the tests is in how they test your abilities.
The ISEE uses synonyms and sentence completion to test vocabulary, the SSAT uses synonyms and analogies.
The reading section on the ISEE tends to be longer than on the SSAT , but the SSAT includes a broader range of genres, including poetry.
The ISEE also focuses more on mathematical reasoning than the SSAT does.
I would suggest that you choose the test that will highlight your strengths if you have the option.

We focus on teaching our students how to take these type of timed, high school and college entrance exams properly. Online Tutoring
When Covid hit, we all switched to online learning. At first, I was a little nervous about it, but one-on-one learning with the technology that we have has proven to be just as effective. The ability to share screen, digitally write on the screen, and more helps us help our students really improve their grades and over all academics. I am so happy with the evolution of my business and I’m excited to see what the future holds.
